Here is the “Why?” Behind Larissa’s calling to work in Adoption
“I feel called to work in Adoption because, I grew up with the example of someone who had a true heart and tireless work ethic for adoption, so from an early age I understood how beautiful and selfless the process of adoption could be. Moreover, someone who is very dear to my heart was adopted into my family, so I’ve experienced first hand what a blessing adoption is, and I feel very privileged to be able to play even a small part in bringing that gift to other lives and families.”

If you could change the world in an instant, what would you do?
I think if we were all a little more selfless it would be the beginning of everything.
What are your hobbies or interests?
I love to read, listen to music, watch movies/TV shows, play volleyball, running, yoga and spending time with my people.
Do you have a hidden talent most people don’t know about?
I’m a trained phlebotomist.
What one accomplishment are you most proud of?
I’m not sure if it’s an accomplishment, but I’m very proud of and thankful for the relationships that I have with my loved ones. I’m proud of the strength and trust we draw from each other. They’re the ones I have invested most of my life and heart into.
What do you do to relax?
I light some candles to soothe my thoughts and either read or listen to music – both can be my escape.
What pets do you have?
I’m not really an animal person, so none, but I can appreciate them from afar.
Interesting fact about your life.
I’ve never been on an airplane, but I’d like to someday.
